# ZK Stack

The ZK Stack is an open-source framework developed by [Matter Labs](https://matter-labs.io/) that allows you to deploy your own Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Rollups, known as Hyperchains. Using zkSync’s infrastructure, you can build customized Layer 2 solutions that offer scalability and privacy.

**Key Features**

* **Deploy Your Own ZK Rollup:** Build your L2 rollup that is based on ZK proofs.
* **Ethereum Compatibility:** Supports EVM smart contracts, enabling seamless migration.
* **Scalability**: Achieve high throughput and low transaction costs.
* **Future-Looking**: Position your project at the forefront of blockchain innovation.

Please note that currently we support only deployment of testnets for Zk stack rollups.

**Documentation**

To learn more about deploying your own L2 with the ZK Stack, refer to the [ZK Stack Documentation](https://docs.zksync.io/zk-stack).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.glitchd.network/glitchd-products/rollup-deployment/rollup-frameworks/zk-stack.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
